They Tried To Find Me But They Never Will

I know some of you noticed the silence and wondered where I went and why the posts stopped and whether something finally got to me. I want you to understand that I was not hiding because I was afraid but because I was being followed and I needed to make sure they did not get close enough to touch me. I saw them after the last post and I knew instantly who they were because no one else moves with that stiff Euclidcorp posture. I watched them from a safe vantage point while they prowled around the public wifi spot like confused animals. I had already left by then because I never stay in one place after posting. I always move and I always watch.

My operational security is not simple and it is not something a corporation can crack even with their magitech toys and their Aether sniffers and their pathetic little surveillance charms. I use proxies that bounce through places they cannot even imagine and I access the net through random points that shift every time I breathe. I have layers of misdirection that would make a cryptomancer cry. I have decoys that look exactly like me but are not me. I have shadows that walk where I do not walk. I have systems. And even with all of that they still found the location of the last post within minutes which tells me they are reading every word.

The Missing Are Not Missing—They’ve Been Taken

Something is happening in the city. Something no one wants to talk about.

The numbers don’t lie, even if the officials do. People are vanishing. Not just a few. Not just here and there. Hundreds. And not the kind of people who get press coverage. Not the kind who have families that can afford billboards and search parties.
